So, what is silicone render?

Silicone render is a thin-coat render. That means you apply it on top of a base coat, and it is only a few millimetres thick.

The increasing popularity of silicone render owes largely to the beautiful finish it achieves.

Moreover, unlike acrylic renders it is breathable, meaning it doesn't completely seal the bricks off and prevent any ventilation in the process. It's also incredibly fast and easy to apply, meaning the work will be completed in a smaller timescale than other types of render.
